The Knights gave up a run in the first inning of the second game of the day but scored four runs in the bottom half of the inning after a three-run home run by Salter and an RBI single by
Jose Vargas. The Wolfpack closed the lead to 4-2 but the Knights offense continued to stay locked in with four more runs on a wild pitch strike out, a sacrifice fly by
Zane Faulk and a two-run single by Duarte as the Knights led 8-2 after two innings. The offenses for both teams went quiet as both pitching staffs got to work until the eighth inning when the Wolfpack scored three runs in the top of the inning. The Knights had an answer for the Wolfpack as they scored three runs of their own on a three-run home run by Faulk to take an 11-5 lead and they locked down the ninth inning to win again.
