MACON, Ga. – New MGA head women's cross country coach
John Green has announced the Fall schedule for the Knights as they will make their NCAA Division II and Peach Belt Conference debut. The team is set to compete in five events during the Fall as they call the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course home.
The Knights will start the season on September 5
th at the Valdosta State Cross Country Border Clash, hosted by Valdosta State University. The team will continue their three week stretch of meets when they run in the University of North Georgia Invitational and the Willie Laster Invitational, hosted by Albany State University. The Knights will a few weeks off before heading into the 18
th annual Sand Shark Invitational, hosted by USC-Beaufort. The Knights will have another week of rest to prepare for the Peach Belt Conference Championships, hosted by Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia, on October 25
th.
As provisional members of the NCAA Division II, the Knights are ineligible for NCAA postseason but are eligible for Peach Belt Conference postseason.
