DALTON, Ga. - The Knights were back out and running for the second straight night as they headed to Dalton, Georgia to run in Saturday Night Lights, hosted by Dalton State College. The Knights ran Friday night with a decent showing and were ready to get back on the course.

Saturday Night Lights was a six kilometer race, resulting in a .62 mile longer course than most races. Kelsey Sanders was the first runner to cross the finish line for the Knights with a time of 27:35, good for 25th place, and Rori Pandolfini came in as the second Knight with a time of 29:55.8 to place 41st. Lexi Grote (32:28.3), Elizabeth Koenig (33:03.0), and Agustina Olivero (33:36.0) crossed the finish line to round out the scoring for the Knights as they scored 194 points. The Knights finished 7th out of nine teams, beating Clark Atlanta University and Jefferson State CC.

The Knights will get a couple weeks of recovery before their next meet on Friday, September 25th when they host the PBC Preview Meet at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course. Their race begins at 9 AM EST.
