COCHRAN, Ga. - The Knights were back on their home pitch on Saturday as they hosted the Saints of Flagler College in their Peach Belt Conference opener. The Knights return from a road trip that saw them go 1-0-1.

Both teams controlled the ball equally in the first minutes of the first half as both team fired off multiple shots. The Saints were the first team to find the back of the net in the 34th minute and the Saints grabbed control of the match with multiple shots in the final minutes of the half. The Knights were able to keep all of the Saints shots out of the net and went into halftime down 1-0. The second half started off slow for both teams but the Saints put another goal on the scoreboard in the 59th minute and the Knights found themselves down 2-0. The Saints continued to attack the Knights and scored another goal in the 77th minute with the Knights going on to lose 3-0. The Knights were outshot 14-5, 12-3 shots on goal.

The Knights will be back in action on Tuesday, September 23rd as they head to Columbus, Georgia to take on the Cougars of Columbus State university. Kick off is scheduled for 6 PM EST.
