COCHRAN, Ga. – Coach Steven Rhodes is pleased to announce the 2025-26 Knights women's basketball schedule. The team returns four players from last year's squad and has bolstered the roster with nine new players to the program as Rhodes begins his first campaign on the sideline as MGA head coach.
The Knights will play two scrimmages, one at home and one on the road, before tipping off the season on the road in Harrogate, Tennessee on November 14
th against Converse University and King University on November 15
th. The Knights remain on the road for a matchup against Paine College on November 20
th before opening their home schedule on November 25
th against Johnson C. Smith University and November 26
th against Paine College.
The Knights will open their Peach Belt Conference schedule on December 3
rd in Americus, Georgia against the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern before returning home for their first-ever PBC home game in Morris Gymnasium on December 6
th against USC-Aiken. The team will travel to Milledgeville, Georgia on December 9
th to take on Georgia College before coming home for a month with games against USC-Beaufort, Flagler, Claflin, and a New Years Eve afternoon matchup with Agnes Scott.
The January portion of the schedule sees the Purple and Black open up on January 3
rd with a home contest against PBC rival Augusta University before hitting the road on January 10
th to take on Clayton State. North Georgia comes to Morris Gymnasium on January 14
th before MGA battles back-to-back road contests at Lander and Columbus State. A quick two-game homestand follows with matchups versus Georgia Southwestern and Georgia College before a three-game road trip takes the team schedule into the first week of February with showdowns against USC-Aiken, Flagler, and USC-Beaufort.
The team takes on Clayton State at home on February 11
th before their final road trip of the regular season to North Georgia and Augusta. The Knights will close out the regular season at home against Columbus State and Lander.
The Knights are eligible to qualify for the Peach Belt Conference Tournament in their first season of competition which will take place at the highest seeds between March 4-8, 2026.
