COCHRAN, Ga. - The Knights were back on the field at home on Friday, October 9th as they hosted the Nighthawks of North Georgia. Weather forced the match to be moved up from Saturday with both teams coming off of short rest.
The Nighthawks went up early as they scored 1:04 into the match and kept up their attack. They scored again in the 21st minute before the Knights were able to get off two shots. The Nighthawks held the 2-0 lead at halftime as the Knights looked to make adjustments and get back in the match. Any adjustments made at halftime were unable to produce any momentum as the Knights were held without a shot in the second half while the Nighthawks added on two more goals and the Knights lost 4-0.
The Knights move to 2-11-1, 0-5-1 PBC as they play their final non-conference match of the season on Wednesday, October 14th against the Cobras of Coker University. Kick off is scheduled for 5:00 PM EST.
