MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Knights got back out on the road on Tuesday, February 17th as they headed to Mount Vernon, Georgia to renew their rivalry with the Barons of Brewton-Parker Christian University. The Knights were coming off of a loss in their previous game while the Barons had also lost their previous game.

The Barons struck first with a sacrifice fly in the second inning and added on a run in the third inning with an RBI single to put the Knights behind 2-0. The Knights got on the scoreboard in the fourth inning with an RBI single from
Seve Fernandez and a sacrifice fly from Teonis PImentel to tie the game at 2-2. The Barons answered back with a run in the fourth inning and extended their lead in the sixth inning as they scored three runs and one run in the seventh inning. The Knights got two runs back in the eighth inning on a two-run single from
Patrick Crosby but were unable to score any more runs as they lost the game 7-4.
