COCHRAN, Ga. – The Knights were at home on Saturday, February 28th as they wrapped up their season against the Bearcats of Lander University. The Knights were looking to finish up their season on a high note with a win while the Bearcats had already clinched the Peach Belt Conference regular season title.

Game Recap

The Knights and Bearcats started off the game trading the lead before the Knights secured the lead. The Bearcats came back to take a one point lead but the Knights went on a run to take an wight point lead with 8:28 remaining in the half. The Bearcats went on their own run late in the half as they came back to take a two point lead heading into halftime.

The Bearcats came out of the break ready to hit shots as they pulled away to a 14 point lead with 14:21 left in the game but the Knights fought back and closed the gap down to two points. The Bearcats recovered to push their lead back out to 13 points as the Knights were unable to make another run and lost 80-70.

Notable Performances

Caleb Love led the Knights with 17 points as OT Delancy scored 14 points and Joshua Robertson added 13 points.
