CLEVELAND, Tenn - The Knights were back on the court on Sunday, March 1st as they stayed on the road in Cleveland, Tennessee to take on the 16th-ranked Flames of Lee University. The Knights were winners of their last three matches while the Flames were undefeated on the season

Match Recap

The Knights were down early as the Flames won the #3 doubles match and #2 doubles match, both by a score of 6-2, to take a 1-0 lead in the match. The Knights lost the #3 singles match with Alexandr Achour forcing the first set into a tiebreaker, losing the match 7-6, 6-1. Alejandro Vizoso lost the first set in the #1 singles match but came back to win the second set to force the third and final set that was lost 6-3. Daniel Garcia Suarez won the first set of the #2 singles match but lost the second and third sets, each by a score of 6-4, with the Knights losing the match 4-0.

What's Next

The Knights will be at home on Friday, March 6th as they host the Warhawks of Auburn-Montgomery in their first official home match as an NCAA Division II program. That match is scheduled to start at 1 PM EST.
