The Knights were down early as the Flames won the #3 doubles match and #2 doubles match, both by a score of 6-2, to take a 1-0 lead in the match. The Knights lost the #3 singles match with
Alexandr Achour forcing the first set into a tiebreaker, losing the match 7-6, 6-1.
Alejandro Vizoso lost the first set in the #1 singles match but came back to win the second set to force the third and final set that was lost 6-3. Daniel Garcia Suarez won the first set of the #2 singles match but lost the second and third sets, each by a score of 6-4, with the Knights losing the match 4-0.
What's Next
The Knights will be at home on Friday, March 6th as they host the Warhawks of Auburn-Montgomery in their first official home match as an NCAA Division II program. That match is scheduled to start at 1 PM EST.
