COCHRAN, Ga. - The Knights were back in action on Wednesday, March 25th as they hosted the Barons of Brewton-Parker Christian University. The Knights had lost their last four games while the Barons had also lost their last four games.
Game One

The Knights and Barons were locked in a pitcher's duel in the first game of the day. The Knights were able to load the bases in the third inning but came away with no runs. They threatened again in the fifth inning and cashed in this time as
Briana Murray connected for a three-run home run. The Barons started to put together a rally in the seventh inning as they scored two runs but the Knights got out of the inning with runners on first and third as they won the game 3-2.
Game Two

After the Barons scored three runs in the top of the first inning, the Knights answered back with two runs scored on an error as they cut the lead down to 3-2. The Barons kept scoring as they scored one run in the second inning and three runs in the third inning put the Knights down 7-2. A sacrifice fly by
Mel Bullock and a double steal scored another run in the third inning but the Barons got both runs back in the fourth inning as the Knights faced a 9-4 deficit. The Barons added another run in the sixth inning and the Knights lost the game 10-4.
What's Up Next
The Knights stay at home as they open another Peach Belt Conference series on Friday, March 27th against the Bearcats of Lander University. First pitch is scheduled for 6 PM EST.
