ALBANY, Ga. - The Knights were back on the road on Wednesday, March 25th as they went to Albany, Georgia to take on the Golden Rams of Albany State University. The Knights picked up a win in their previous match against Southeastern University while the Golden Rams won their previous match as well.

Match Recap

The Knights cruised to the doubles point as they won the #3 doubles match and the #2 doubles match 6-0 to take the point with no problem. The singles portion of the match was much of the same story as Yana Prihach, Irina Furtuna, and Agustina Olivero each won their matches 6-0, 6-0 to clinch the match for the Knights. The rest of the matches were played out as the Knights won two of the three remaining matches to pick up the 6-1 win.

Notable Performances

Aya El Marrasse Zarioui, Lucile Gence, Irina Furtuna, and Yana Prihach all went 2-0, winning both singles and doubles matches.

What's Next

The Knights will be back in action on Friday, March 27th as they head to Americus, Georgia to take on the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern. That match is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM EST.
