AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Knights were back on the diamond on Saturday, March 7th as they headed to Augusta, Georgia to take on the Jaguars of Augusta University as they opened Peach Belt Conference play. The Knights won their last two games while the Jaguars had lost their last two games.
Game One

The Knights led off the game with a triple from
Jada Akeson but she was gunned down at the plate trying to score on a fly ball. The Jaguars scored three runs in the bottom half of the inning to put the Knights behind 3-0. The offense for the Knights was unable to get any momentum as the Jaguars scored one run in the third inning and two runs in the fourth inning as the Knights lost 6-0.
Game Two

The Jaguars scored first with one run in the first inning but the Knights answered back in the second inning with RBI singles from
Jenna Kirkland and
Jada Akeson to take the 2-1 lead. The Jaguars tied the game in the bottom half of the second inning and scored the go ahead run in the fourth inning. The Knights were unable to get any hits over the final three innings of play as they lost 3-2.
