MACON, Ga. - The Knights were back at home on Wednesday, April 15th as they hosted the Jaguars of Augusta University. The Knights were looking for their second consecutive win while the Jaguars were looking to bounce back after losing their last match..

Match Recap

The Knights had no problem with the Jaguars as they cruised to the doubles point with a 6-2 win in the #3 doubles match and a 6-4 win in the #1 doubles match to clinch the point. The Knights continued their hot play into the singles matches as all six matches were won in straight sets. Aya El Marrasse Zarioui picked up the 6-2, 6-4 win in the #2 singles match to put the Knights up 2-0. Lucile Gence put the Knights within one point of the match with a 6-0, 6-3 win in the #3 singles match and Ainhoa Meili Fernandez del Moral clinched the match for the Knights with her 6-3, 6-2 win in the #1 singles match. The remaining matches were finished with the Knights winning all three as they swept the Jaguars 7-0.

Ainhoa Meili Fernandez del Moral played a big part in the Knights win as she played in the doubles clinching match and her singles win clinched the overall match.
