MACON, Ga. - The Knights were back on their home court for the final time this season on Friday, April 17th as they faced the 11th-ranked Nighthawks of North Georgia. The Knights had won their last two matches while the Nighthawks lost their previous match.

The Knights got off to a great start as they picked up wins in the #2 doubles match and #3 doubles match to take the point and an early 1-0 lead. The Nighthawks stormed back in singles competition as they won the #4, #2, and #3 matches to pull ahead 3-1. The Knights got a point back in the #1 singles match with Ainhoa Meili Fernandez del Moral picking up the 7-6, 2-6, 6-4 win to get the Knights within one point. The Nighthawks clinched the match with a win in the #5 singles match but the Knights won the #6 singles match to make the score 4-3.

What's Next

The Knights head back out on the road for their final regular season match on Sunday, April 19th as the take on the Saints of Flagler University. That match is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM EST.
