SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Knights were on the road on Sunday, April 19th as they headed to Saint Augustine, Florida to take on the 16th-ranked Saints of Flagler College. The Knights looked to get an upset win to head into the Peach Belt Conference Tournament with a head of steam.

The Knights looked to be heading for the upset win as they got a 7-5 win in the #1 doubles match from
Agustina Olivero and
Ainhoa Meili Fernandez del Moral but two close losses in the other two matches gave the point to the Saints. The top two singles players for the Saints were ranked in the ITA Top-75 and they played up to their ranking as the Knights lost the first two singles matches.
Lucile Gence picked up the 6-3, 6-2 win in the #3 singles match and Olivero picked up a close 7-5, 7-5 win in the #4 singles match to get the Knights within one point.
Yana Prihach was in the #5 singles match for the Knights as it came down to a tiebreak and she came through with a 6-4, 1-6, 10-4 win to tie the match. The match came down to the final singles match as the Saints got the win and the Knights lost the match 4-3.
What's Next
The Knights finish the regular season in fourth in the Peach Belt Conference and they will face the 5-seeded Bobcats of Georgia College in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, held in Columbus, Georgia. That match will take place on Friday, April 24th at 9 AM EST.
