MACON, Ga. - The Knights were back on their home court for the final time this season on Friday, April 17th as they faced the 15th-ranked Nighthawks of North Georgia. The Knights won their last match against Augusta University while the Nighthawks lost their previous match against Columbus State.

The Knights and Nighthawks played three close matches in doubles play with the Nighthawks coming away with two wins to take the point. The Knights gained the lead with two early wins in singles play with Alexandr Achour winning the #3 singles match 7-5, 6-0 and Alejandro Vizoso winning the #1 singles match 7-5, 6-3. The Nighthawks stormed back with wins in the #4, #2, and #5 singles matches as they clinched the match. The Knights picked up a win in the #6 singles match but the Nighthawks picked up the match win 4-3.

What's Next

The Knights head back out on the road for their final regular season match on Sunday, April 19th as the take on the Saints of Flagler University. That match is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM EST.
