SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Knights were on the road on Sunday, April 19th as they headed to Saint Augustine, Florida to take on the 3rd-ranked Saints of Flagler College. The Knights were looking to get an upset to gain some momentum heading into the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.

Match Recap

The Knights would have to put together a complete match if they were going to come away with the win. The Saints swept through doubles play to get the first point of the match and the Knights faced a tough team with five singles players in the ITA Top-75. The Saints came away with wins in the #5, #3, and #4 singles matches to clinch the overall match but the others continued playing. Alejandro Vizoso gave the Knights a point with a 6-4, 2-6, 10-5 win in the #1 singles match and Daniel Garcia Suarez got another point with a 7-6, 2-6, 10-2 win in the #2 singles match as the Knights lost the match 5-2.

The Knights finish the regular season in fifth in the Peach Belt Conference as they will face the 4-seeded Bearcats of Lander University in the Peach Belt Conference, held in Columbus, Georgia. That match will take place on Friday, April 24th at 3 PM EST.
