COCHRAN, Ga. - The Knights were back on the field on Friday, April 3rd as they opened up another Peach Belt Conference series against the Pacers of USC-Aiken. The Knights were on a five game winning streak and looking to make up more ground in the PBC standings.

The Pacers jumped on the Knights early as they hit a two-run home run in the first inning and a three-run home run in the third inning to jump out to a 5-0 lead. The Pacers kept up their hot pace with six more runs in the fourth inning but the Knights finally found an answer. The Knights got two-run singles from
Torrey Cummings and
Kaylee Oliver to cut the lead down to 11-4. The Pacers answered back in the fifth inning with two more runs and the Knights were unable to score in the bottom half of the inning as the mercy rule came into effect and the Knights lost 13-4.

The Knights will be back on the diamond on Saturday, April 4th as they play the Pacers twice to wrap up the series. First pitch is scheduled for 1 PM EST.
