MARTINEZ, Ga.- The Peach Belt Conference has released the 2026-27 championship schedule for the upcoming academic year, which includes Middle Georgia State University set to host the men's and women's cross country championships at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course on Saturday, November 7^th.

The Georgia Premier Cross Country Course is home to the Knights women's cross country program on the Macon campus and features a facility that will welcome in each of the PBC programs who sponsor men's and women's cross country to compete for the conference crown.

The PBC men's cross country teams, which MGA does not sponsor, will compete in the traditional postseason distance of 8,000 kilometers while the women's teams will be showcased in a 5,000 kilometer race.

"We are very excited to showcase our outstanding cross country facility to the other PBC institutions and their fans while putting in a collective effort to provide a first-class championship experience for all cross country student-athletes in the PBC," said MGA Director of Athletics, Michael Brown.

Flagler College swept the men's and women's championships last season in dominating fashion when the PBC championships were held on the campus of Georgia College and State University. Augusta University finished as the runner-up in both events while Georgia College (men) and the University of North Georgia (women) each took home third place respectively.

The Georgia Premier Cross County Course has undergone several upgrades over the past few years including the addition of paved parking, permanent restrooms, on-site locker rooms, an Athletic Training Room and a covered pavilion for spectators and teams alike.

Information regarding ticket prices and video streaming options for the event will be released later this Fall.
