BEAUFORT, S.C. - The Knights were back on the field on Wednesday, September 23rd as they headed to Beaufort, South Carolina to take on the Sand Sharks. The Knights worked a draw in their last match while the Sand Sharks were on a three-match losing streak.
The Sand Sharks controlled the pace for much of the match as they scored one goal in the first half while the Knights had zero shots. The Knights fired two shots in the second half, both saved by the Sand Sharks keeper, and the Sand Sharks scored their second goal in the 89th minute as the Knights lost 2-0.
Hollie Keefe had nine saves in the match.
The Knights move to 2-7-1, 0-3-1 PBC as they return home for their next match on Saturday, September 26th against Clayton State University. Kick off is scheduled for 1:30 PM EST.
