DAHLONEGA, Ga. - The Knights got back on the road on Saturday, September 26th as they headed to Dahlonega, Georgia to take on the 3rd-ranked Nighthawks of North Georgia. The Knights were coming off of a tough loss at home while the Nighthawks had rattled off three straight draws.
The offensive advantage was in favor of the Nighthawks as they started to fire off shots in the first half. The Knights caught a break and made it pay off as they scored in the 23rd minute off the foot of
Alfie Irving to take the lead. The Nighthawks scored two goals in the final five minutes of the half to put the Knights behind at halftime. The Knights tied the match with their first shot of the second half as
Javier Gongora Andres added another goal to his yearly total. The Nighthawks added another tow goals later in the second half as the Knights lost 4-2.
The Knights fall to 3-6-1, 1-3-1 PBC on the season as they return home to take on the 24th-ranked Saints of Flagler College on Wednesday, September 30th. Kick off is scheduled for 5:00 PM EST.
