Freshman - Played in 54 games, starting in 53 games. At the plate, hit .339 with 11 doubles, four triples, three home runs, 31 RBI's, and 14 walks. Went four-for-five in stoel base attempts. On the mound, pitched in 29 games, with 14 wins and 11 losses and 2.72 ERA. 2x SSAC Pitcher of the Week. Named to the SSAC Second-Team All-Conference, SSAC Gold Glove Team, SSAC All-Freshman Team.
Personal - Caroline is the daughter of Melanie and Robbie Newton and is majoring in Nursing. Brother, Austin, played college football at Maryville College.
