Chris Ryan

Coach Chris Ryan enters his 10th season as an assistant coach at Middle Georgia State University. At MGA, Coach Ryan assists with practices, individual workouts, game day planning, strength and conditioning and serves as the recruiting coordinator.

Prior to his time here at MGA, Coach Ryan spent 2 years at Georgia College as a volunteer assistant coach. Working for Coach Terry Sellers and Coach Mark Gainous while at Georgia College, his main duties and responsibilities were recruiting and scouting while assisting in individual workouts and practice.

Ryan was a student assistant for 4 years under Head Coach Bo Clark at Flagler College. He was a member of the first Flagler team to participate in the Peach Belt Conference when they moved to the conference in 2009-2010.

Coach Ryan, a native of Colonia, NJ, earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications/Public Relations from Flagler College in 2012 and received his master’s in Organizational Leadership/Sports Management from Waldorf University in 2020.
