Allen Luton

Men's Soccer Assistant Coach/Director of Recruiting Allen Luton is in his fifth season with the Knights. Prior to joining MGA, he was an Olympic Development Program (ODP) staff coach, and a Head Coach at Macon Soccer Club, Central Georgia Soccer Association (CGSA), Southern Alliance Futbol (SAF), and Athens United Soccer Association. He has a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Coaching License. Luton also served as the Head Coach at Mary Persons High School (Forsyth, Ga.) for seven years, amassing an 83-24-5 record with the program, including three Region Championships, two Elite 8 and Sweet 16 GHSA State Championship appearances. Luton was also named GHSA Region Coach of the Year twice.

As a player, Luton was a 4-year starter and captain at Brewton-Parker College, where he led the team to its only Conference Title and National Tournament appearances in the school’s history. He graduated third all-time in career assists and is the school's record-holder for games played in a career. Following his college career, he spent three seasons as a midfielder with the Atlanta Silverbacks of the USL. He has a Master's degree in Education from Georgia College & State University and a Bachelor's in Political Science.
