COCHRAN, GA - The Knights football program has named Victor Hall as the new Head Coach for the program. Hall took over as Interim on February 9 after the departure of Kiwaukee Thomas and has been officially named the Head Coach as of February 25, 2019. Hall joined the Knights in 2017 as Defensive Coordinator and took over the Offensive Coordinator and Associate Head Coach duties in 2018.
Hall was a star tight end at Auburn University where he earned all-SEC honors, three SEC Championships and set a Peach Bowl record with 9 receptions in the game.
Hall played in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings and the Indianapolis Colts. He also played for the Barcelona Dragons in NFL Europe. After Hall completed his NFL career he went on to play Arena League Football for the following teams: Orlando Predators, Los Angeles Avengers, and the Florida Firecats.
Hall moved into coaching in 2003 where he served as an assistant coach for the Florida Firecats as they won three division championships. He was the head coach at Florida Christian Institute High School where he led the school to back-to-back regional championships. Hall has also served as an assistant at Cape Coral High School and at Southwest Florida Christian Academy.
In 2015 Hall was selected to the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship with Pittsburgh Steelers. Hall was also selected again in 2016 to the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship with Cleveland Browns.
Hall earned a BA in Criminal Justice from Auburn University, as well as a Master's Degree and PhD in Criminal Justice from Park University.
"My experience as a player and coach will allow me to help the student-athletes to extend their education with our program while playing football" said Coach Hall.
Coach Hall brings over 23 years of football experience to Middle Georgia State University Football and he will not only be a good coach for our young men, but a good mentor as well.
