Knights Football Loses in Final Preseason Tune-up

The Knights Football team traveled up to Lagrange, Georgia for their final preseason game against Lagrange College on Sunday, where they lost a close game 21-20. The Knights were able to get on the scoreboard first as they held a 7-0 lead until the final play of the first half as Lagrange threw a hail mary pass for a touchdown to tie things up going into halftime. Lagrange would go on to score two more touchdowns to make the score 21-7 before the Knights would score two touchdowns of their own. On the final touchdown, the Knights made the decision to go for two instead of kick the extra point and did not convert the attempt. The Knights open the season Saturday, September 21 against Community Christian College starting at 1 PM.
