Macon, GA - The Knights were back in action as they host the University of Mobile on Friday and Faulkner University on Saturday.
Friday - University of Mobile
The Knights would start off the match playing well against the Rams but would falter down the stretch, losing the first set 25-11. The Knights would continue to play well into the second set but the Rams would slowly inch ahead and the Knights would lose the second set 25-19. The Knights would start off the third set of the match go down 8-1 but would find late as they would win the third set 25-23. The fourth set would be much like the second set as the Knights would match the Rams before the Rams would slowly pull away and win the set 25-15.
Saturday - Faulkner University
The Knights would play well to start off the match against the Eagles as they would jump out to a slim lead early in the first set. The Eagles would make a comeback late in the set and the Knights would be unable to stop the momentum and go on to lose the set 25-20. The Eagles would jump out to a 6-0 lead in the second set and despite their best efforts, the Knights could not come back from the early deficit as they would lose the second set 25-17. The Knights would find some offense in the third set as they would get out to a 13-9 lead. The Eagles would make another comeback and the Knights would lose the set 25-19.
The Knights will finish up the regular season this weekend as they travel to Brewton-Parker to take on the Barons in the regular season finale. That match is set to start at 11 AM EST/10 AM CST.
