Thomasville, GA - The Knights were on the road on Monday as they traveled to take on the Nighthawks of Thomas University as they looked to avenge an overtime loss from earlier in the season. Both teams would get off to slow starts, with the score only reaching 2-2 after the first five minutes of play. The Knights would slowly start to fall behind as they would trail 24-17 late in the first half but would make a push at the end of the half to make it a 28-27 game at halftime. The Knights would carry the momentum into the second half as they would take a 33-11 lead with 17:13 remaining in the game. The game would remain close as the Nighthawks would start to pull away again in the middle part of the half. The Knights would come back again as they would go up 62-61 with 1:37 remaining in the game. It would prove to be the last bucket the Knights would score as the Knights would go on to lose 67-62.
Tristan Harper led the Knights with 30 points. The Knights will b back in action on Thursday, November 18th as they will open SSAC play, hosting the University of Loyola. That game will tip-off at 7:30 PM EST/6:30 PM CST.
