Macon, GA - The Knights were back on the court on Tuesday, October 11th as they hosted the Scotties of Agnes Scott College. The Knights already defeated the Scotties once this season and were looking to make it a season sweep. The Knights would get out to an early lead over the Scotties in the first set but some mistakes by the Knights would let the Scotties get back within reach. The Knights would regroup late in the set, winning the last six points to win the set 25-16. The Knights would make some more mistakes to start out the second set as they would fall behind early on but would come back to take the lead and go on to win the second set 25-16 as well. The Knights would dominate the third set as they would only allow the Scotties to win four points in the entire set and win the match 3-0. Allison Carter led the Knights with nine kills, Ellison Johnson led with 12 assists, and Beau Houston led with seven digs. The Knights will return to the court on Friday, October 14th as they host the Running Eagles of Life University in a Southern States conference matchup. The match is set to tip-off at 7 PM EST.
