Cochran, GA - The Knights were back in action on Thursday, October 13th as they hosted the Toppers of Blue Mountain College. The Knights were coming off a tough stretch of games, having played three of the top four teams within the SSAC, and were looking to get on track. The Knights would be in for a physical match as there would be plenty of fouls. The first half would not see many shots as neither team could pick up any momentum with the Toppers outshooting the Knights 2-1 but the Knights would commit seven fouls to the Toppers four fouls. The second half would be much of the same story but would have more shots. The Toppers would break the scoreless drought as they would score in the 63rd minute and the Knights looked to be headed for another defeat. The Knights would tie the match up in the 86th minute with a goal off the foot of
Marino Graf on a free kick from just outside the penalty box. The Knights hold on to the tie as the game would end in a 1-1 draw. The Knights would outshoot the Topper 5-4 in the match as yellow cards would fill the stats sheet with the Toppers getting six cards and the Knights would receive four cards. The Knights will look the sustain some momentum as they host the Tornadoes of Talladega College on Saturday, October 15th. The match is set to kick off at 3:30 PM EST.
