Augusta, GA - The Knights were back on the court on Sunday as they traveled to Augusta, Georgia to take on the Jaguars of Augusta University. The KNights were coming off of a couple of exhibition matches as they were still looking for their first win of the season. The Knights would win the #1 doubles match 6-4 with the team of Alexia Desmet and Isadora Marcondes but would drop the #2 doubles match 6-2. The doubles point would come down to the #3 doubles match with the team of Anna Ruiz Masip and Paula Velayos winning the match 6-2 and the Knights would take the doubles point to take the 1-0 leading into the singles matches. Marcondes would give the Knights their second point of the match with a 6-3, 6-2 win at the #3 singles position but the Knights would lose four other singles matches and go on to lose the match 4-2. The Knights will be back on the court on Saturday, February 26th as they will be back on the road to take on the Lions of Emmanuel College.
