Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on their home court on Saturday as they hosted the Barons of Brewton-Parker College. The Knights were coming off a close loss to #2 Talladega College and were looking to get back in the winning column. The Knights would take the lead early but the Barons would come back as both teams would trade the lead throughout the first half. The Knights would surrender the lead late in the first half as they would fall behind by as many as seven points late in the half before they would go into the halftime break down 35-30. The Knights would start the second half by quickly closing the gap and tying the game at 40-40. The game would continue to go back and forth between the Barons and Knights as the Knights would finally take the lead with 13:29 remaining in the game and never surrender the lead again. The Knights would go up by as many as 10 points before winning the game 73-65. Juwan Johnson led the Knights with 19 points as three other Knights would reach double figures in scoring. The Knights will look to sustain their momentum as they host the Eagles of Faulkner University on Thursday, February 10th. That game will tip-off at 7:30 PM EST.
