Cochran, GA - The Knights were on their home court on Monday as they hosted the Tigers of Stillman College in a make up game from earlier in the season. The Knights were coming off a win against Brewton-Parker on Saturday and were looking to carry that momentum into Monday's game. The Knights and Tigers would play the first five minutes of the game very close, trading the lead a number of times. The Tigers would grab the lead but the Knights would not let the lead grow too large as they would be within five points for most of the first half. The deficit would grow to eight points late in the first half before the Knights would go into halftime down 34-28. The Knights would have to take control of the second half if they wanted to come away with the victory. The Knights would score the first eight points of the second half to take the lead as the defense would step up in the second half. The Knights would continue to score in the second half as they would quickly go ahead by double digits. The Tigers would try and make a run, cutting the Knights lead down to seven points, but the Knights would not let the Tigers get any closer as the Knights would pull further away and win 73-59.
Tristan Harper led the Knights with 24 points and nine rebounds with
Tyler Willoughby adding 20 points. The Knights will be back in action on Thursday, February 10th as they host the Eagles of Faulkner University. That game will tip-off at 7:30 PM EST.
