Cochran, GA - The Knights were back in action on their home court on Saturday as they hosted the Barons from Brewton-Parker College. The Knights were on a 4-game losing streak entering Saturday's game and were looking to end that streak. The Knights would fall behind early but would stay within one possession for most of the first quarter as they would be down 14-11 at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter would see the Barons start to pull away from the Knights as the Knights would shoot 25 percent from the field during the quarter and score only 11 points as they would go into the halftime break down 34-22. The Knights would come out of the break with some momentum as they would cut the lead down to five points but the Knights would fade late in the third quarter as the deficit would grow to 57-40 at the end of the quarter. The Knights would have to make an improbable comeback if they were to win the game. The Knights would try to make the comeback as they would cut the lead down to six points but they would run out of time as the Knights would lose 75-63. Destiny Kincaide would lead the Knights with 16 points as Rykia Pennamon added 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Knights will continue to look to end their current losing streak as they host the Eagles of Faulkner UNiversity on Thursday, February 10th. That game will tip-off at 5:30 PM EST.
