The Knights would come through in the sixth inning as they would five runs on two hits and three errors to take the 8-5 lead and would shut the game down in the seventh inning to win the game. The Knights would carry the momentum into the second game of the day as they would score seven runs in the second inning on five hits and four errors as they looked to end the second game early. The Knights would score two more runs in the third inning on a
Summer Lawrence RBI groundout and Raulerson RBI single as the Knights would take a 9-0 lead. The Knights would give up a run in the fourth inning but would come back in the bottom half of the inning to score a run on a Blizzard RBI single and the Knights would take a 10-1 into the fifth inning, only needing three outs to force a mercy rule. The Knights would get two outs on the Barons before errors started to mount up and the Knights would give up three runs. The Knights would clean up the defense in the sixth and seventh innings as they would win the second game of the series 10-4. The series sweep takes the Knights record to 21-9 as they go into another conference series on Friday, April 1st as they will be on the road in Talladega, Alabama to take on the Tornadoes of Talladega College.
