Box Score Americus, GA - The Knights were back in action on Wednesday, August 31st as they headed to Americus, Georgia to take on the Hurricanes of NCAA D-II Georgia Southwestern. The Knights would start off the game playing well as they would keep the game at a 0-0 tie going into the halftime break. The first half would be fairly even on the stats sheet as GSW would hold a 6-4 advantage on shots. The second half would be one to forget for the Knights as the defense would break down and the Hurricanes would score four goals in the half and the Knights would be shutout 4-0. The Knights would finish the game at a 20-7 disadvantage in shots. The Knights will look to regroup before hitting the road again as they travel to Babson Park, Florida to take on the Warriors of Webber International on Saturday, September 3rd.
