Mount Vernon, GA - The Knights were back in action on Thursday, January 5th as they traveled to Mount Vernon, Georgia to take on the Barons of Brewton-Parker College. The Knights were looking to even up their record as they had a chance to move to .500. The Knights would get off to a slow start as the Barons would take an early lead in the first quarter and the Knights would be down by four points at the end of the first quarter. The Knights would fall further behind in the second quarter as the deficit would grow to 13 points before the Knights would close the second quarter down by five points. The Knights would continue to chip away at the lead as they would close to within three points before the Barons would pull away in the third quarter and the Knights would be down 11 points at the end of the quarter. The deficit for the Knights would only continue to grow as the Knights would lose 72-53. Destanee Wright led the Knights with 18 points. The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, January 7th as they host the Tigers of Stillman College. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 PM EST.
