Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on their home court on Saturday, January 7th as they hosted the Tigers of Stillman College. The Knights were looking to get back in the win column after losing on the road on Thursday. The Knights and Tigers would play a close first quarter as the Knights would take an early lead but the Tigers would score five straight points before the Knights would come back to a four point lead at the end of the quarter. The game would remain close in the second quarter as the Tigers would regain the lead but the Knights would keep them from pulling away as the Knights would regain the lead and take a 25-24 advantage into the halftime break. The Knights make the first bucket of the third quarter but the shooting would go cold as the Tigers would gain the lead and the Knights would be unable to make shots to keep up as they would be down six points at the end of the quarter. The Knights would find their shot in the fourth quarter but the deficit would be too much as the Knights would lose 58-53. Kassidy Broussard led the Knights with 13 points and Destanee Wright would add 11 points. The Knights will be back in action on Thursday, January 12th as they travel to Montghomery, Alabama to take on the Eagles of Faulkner University. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM CST.
