Thomasville, GA - The Knights hit the road on Thursday, November 9th as they traveled to Thomasville, Georgia to take on the Nighthawks of Thomas University. The Knights were coming off of their first win of the season and were looking to add another win to their record. The Knights and Nighthawks would start off the game slowly as neither team would score for the first two and a half minutes. Both teams would play the first ten minutes of the game close as neither team could gain momentum and pull away. The Nighthawks would be the first to sustain any momentum as the Knights would start to fall behind later in the first half. The Knights deficit would grow to double digits as they would trail 43-30 at the halftime break. The deficit would continue to grow in the second half before the Knights would start gain an edge. The Knights would try their best to make a comeback win as they would slowly cut into the deficit late in the second half, getting within two points of the Nighthawks, but the Knights would run out of time as they would lose the game 87-82.
Johnny Kittles led the Knights with 16 points off the bench and three other Knights,
Brice Martin (14 points),
Pierles Brown (13 points), and
Adarius Oliver (12 points) would reach double digits. The Knights will look to getting back in the win column on Saturday, November 11th when they travel to Denmark, South Carolina to take on the Tigers of Voorhees University. That game is set to tip-off at 3 PM EST.
