Cochran, GA - The Knights were back in action on Saturday, November 18th as they hosted the Tigers of Stillman College. The Knights were coming off of a win against UT-Southern and were looking to continue their success with a win against the Tigers. The Knights looked to be in good form as they would score the five of the first seven points of the first quarter but the Tigers would adjust to the Knights defense. The Knights would wind up down 18-10 at the end of the first quarter. The Knights would shrink the deficit down to five points in the second quarter but the Tigers would take the game over and the Knights would be down 36-20 at the halftime break. The Knights deficit would grow to as many as 22 points in the third quarter before they would make an adjustment, ending the third quarter down 57-45. The Knights would get within 10 points of the Tigers but the Knights would come up short in the end, losing 80-54.
Brianna McRae led the Knights with nine points as three other Knights,
Vanessa Samuel,
Chloe Pollock, and
Dymon Cook, would add eight points. The Knights will have the Thanksgiving break to regroup as they next play the Running Eagles of Life University in Marietta, Georgia on Wednesday, November 29th. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM EST.
