Marietta, GA - The Knights were back in action on Wednesday, November 29th as they traveled to Marietta, Georgia to take on the Running Eagles of Life University. The Knights were looking to turn their luck around after losing their last game. The Knights and Running Eagles would play a close game to start off as the largest lead of the first quarter would be a four point lead for the Running Eagles as the Knights would keep them from getting too large of a lead. The Knights would continue to trail in the second quarter as they would trim the lead down to one point late in the second quarter but the Knights would trail 38-34 at the halftime break. The Knights would score the first six points of the third quarter as they would take a two point lead but the Running Eagles would retake the lead and the deficit for the Knights would grow to nine points at the end of the quarter. The Knights would be unable to come back in the fourth quarter as they would be outscored 26-13 in the final ten minutes of the game and they would go on to lose 87-65. Brianna McRae led the Knights with 17 points as Vanessa Samuel (14 points) and Lashauna Coley (10 points) would each reach double digits. The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, December 2nd as they return home to host the Eagles of Faulkner University. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 PM EST.
