Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on their home court on Thursday, February 3rd as they hosted the Barons of Brewton-Parker College. The Knights were coming off of a road victory against Voorhees University and were looking to carry that momentum into this game. The Knights would fall behind early as the lead would grow to 12-4 before the Knights would cut it down to 12-7 at the end of the first quarter. The Knights would continue to cut into the lead as they would tie the game at 12-12 in the second quarter. The Knights would continue to score as they would jump out to a six point lead before the Barons would retake the lead late in the second quarter and the Knights would be down 35-31 at halftime. Destanee Wright would make her 105th free throw of the season, giving her the record for most made free throws in a single season. The Knights would be up 56-52 at the end of the third quarter and looked poised to come away with another victory. The Knights would lose most of their momentum in the fourth quarter as foul trouble would keep them from having a consistent lineup on the floor as they would go on to lose 79-71. Wright led the Knights with 23 points as Lashauna coley would add 12 points and
Brianna Pope would add 11 points. The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, February 4th as they travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to take on the Tigers of Stillman College. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 PM CST.
