Tuscaloosa, AL - The Knights were on the road on Saturday, February 4th as they traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to take on the Tigers of Stillman College. The Knights were coming off of a close loss to Brewton-Parker and were looking to rebound with a win over a Stillman team that was receiving votes in the last Top 25 poll. The Knights would start off the game by jumping out to an early 11-6 lead but the offense would go cold and the Tigers would go on a eight point run and the Knights would be behind 14-11. The Knights offense would reignite as they would be down 18-16 at the end of the first quarter. The offense for the Knights would sputter again in the second quarter as the Tigers would pull away to a nine point lead with 4:25 remaining in the second quarter. The Knights would start to find their rhythm again late in the quarter and would close the deficit down to 31-28 at halftime. The offense for the Knights would be missing coming out of the break as they would only score nine points in the third quarter and the Tigers would pull away to a 49-37 lead at the end of the third quarter. Destanee Wright would make her sixth free throw of the night with 2:35 remaining in the game, giving her the all-time MGA career record for made free throws. The Knights would go on to lose the game 67-45. Wright led the Knights with 11 points and
Lashauna Coley added 10 points. The Knights will be back on the road on Tuesday, February 7th as they travel to Talladega, Alabama to take on the Tornadoes of Talladega College. That game is scheduled to tip-off at 5:30 PM CST.
