Tuscaloosa, AL - The Knights were on the road on Saturday, February 4th as they traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to take on the Tigers of Stillman College. The Knights played the Tigers close at home and were looking to be on the winning side this time around. The Tigers would make the first basket of the game but the Knights would answer back with a three point shot but the Tigers would gain control of the game as they would pull away from the Knights early on. The Knights would not let the Tigers get out to large lead as they would keep it within single digits. The lead would be cut to three points with :59 remaining in the half and the Knights would be down 51-43 at halftime. Three points would be the closest the Knights would come to gaining the lead as the Tigers would remain the better shooting team as the deficit for the Knights would continue to grow throughout the second half. The deficit would grow to as much as 22 points before the Knights would cut into it, losing the game 97-82.
Milique Smith led the Knights with 16 points as three other Knights would reach double digits in scoring. The Knights will be back in action on Tuesday, February 7th as they travel to Talladega, Alabama to take on the Tornadeos of Talladega College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM CST.
