Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on their home court on Wednesday, January 17th for the first time since December 2nd as the Knights hosted the Running Eagles of Life University. The Knights previously played the Running Eagles on November 29th, coming away with a 22 point loss. The Knights were looking to use some home court advantage to come away with a different result. The Knights and Running Eagles would play a close first quarter as the Knights would fall behind by six points multiple times but would come back as they would trail 16-15 at the end of the quarter. The Knights would keep the second quarter close to start but the Running Eagles would go on a run late in the quarter to take a 10 point lead before the Knights would close the deficit to 34-26 at the halftime break. The Knights would come out of the break ready to play as they would slowly chip away at the lead, tying the game at 43-43, before the Running Eagles would score a basket late as the Knights would trail 45-43. The Knights looked to have burnt all their matches by the fourth quarter as the Running Eagles would pull away early and the Knights would lose the game 74-54.

Keiane' Rollins led the Knights, each scoring 12 points. The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, January 20th as they travel to Montgomery, Alabama to take on the Eagles of Faulkner University. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 PM CST.
