Montgomery, AL - The Knights went back on the road on Saturday, January 20th as they traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to take on the Eagles of Faulkner University. The Knights lost to the Eagles at home earlier in the season and were to avenge that loss. The Knights would take the lead early in the first quarter after making the first bucket of the game and the game would be close halfway through the first quarter but the Eagles would heat up and the Knights would go cold as the Knights would trail 18-8 at the end of the first quarter. The shooting for the Knights would remain cold in the second quarter as they would only add another eight points and would trial 37-16 at the halftime break. The Knights would heat up in the third quarter but the Eagles would heat up as well as the Knights would fall further behind in the third quarter, trailing 63-32, and the deficit would not get any smaller in the fourth quarter as the Knights would go on to lose 81-48.
Chloe Pollock led the Knights with 10 points. The Knights will look to get back in the win column on Tuesday, January 23rd as they host the Tigers of Voorhees University. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM EST.
