Americus, GA - The Knights hit the road on Tuesday, October 29th as they traveled to Americus, Georgia to take on the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern. The Knights were looking to get tuned up for their first round match in the SSAC Tournament on Friday.

The first half of the match would not see much action on the stat sheet as the Knights would only get off one shot and the Hurricanes would fire three shots but the match would go into the halftime break tied at 0-0. The tie would be broken in the 50th minute with a goal by the Hurricanes as the Knights would gain some offensive momentum but the Hurricanes goalkeeper would keep the Knights off the scoreboard. The Hurricanes would add another goal in the 65th minute and the Knights would be unable to answer as they would fall 2-0.

The Knights will be back in action on Friday, November 1st as they travel to Life University to take on the Running Eagles in the first round of the SSAC Tournament. Kick off is scheduled for 5 PM EST
