Macon, GA - The Knights were back on their home court on Saturday, October 5th as they hosted the Crusaders of William Carey University. The Knights were looking to get back in the win column after dropping a match against Loyola University on Friday.
The Knights and Crusaders would play a close first set to start but the Crusaders would start to string together multiple point runs and the Knights would be unable to respond as they would drop the first set 25-16. The second set would play out much like the first set as the set would start off close but the Crusaders would pull away and the Knights would lose the second set 25-18. The Knights would start off the third set better than the other two as they would jump out to lead most of the set. The Crusaders would put together some offense late in the set as they would win 14 of the last 17 points and the Knights would lose the third set 25-18.
The Knights will be back in action on Tuesday, October 8th as they host the Golden Rams of Albany State University. That match will tip off at 6 PM EST.
