Macon, GA - The Knights were back on the home court on Tuesday, October 8th as they faced NCAA D-II Albany State University. The Knights previously played the Golden Rams earlier in the season, losing 3-0, as they would look to reverse the outcome.

The Knights would fall behind early as they would lose the first three points of the first set but would come back to take an 11-8 lead. The Golden Rams would retake the lead and would hold on as they Knights would lose the first set 25-22. The second set would see the Knights lose the first point of the set but they would win the next nine points as they would keep the lead throughout the set and would win 25-17. The third set would see the Golden Rams and Knights in a fight to try and hold the lead as both teams would trade the lead until the Knights would take the lead for good in the middle of the set and they would win the set 25-21. The Knights would try and close out the match in the fourth set but the Golden Rams would win the first seven points with the Knights fighting back to make the score 19-18. The Golden Rams would win the fourth set 25-22 with the match going down to the final set. The Knights would dominate the fifth set as they would win the set 15-6. Yanelis Rodriguez led the Knights with 14 kills as three other Knights would reach double digits in kills, Beau Houston led with 27 assists as Ellie Johnson added 19 assists, and Paige Collier led with 24 digs with three other Knights reached double digits.

The Knights will be on the court on Wednesday, October 9th as they host the Panthers of NCAA D-III Lagrange College. Tip off is scheduled for 6 PM EST.
