Cochran, GA - The Knights were back at home for the first time in over three weeks as they hosted the Skyhawks of Point University. The Knights were trying to erase a two game losing streak as they looked to get their second win of the season.
The Knights would score the first two points of the game after an administrative technical foul but the Skyhawks would keep the Knights within reach. The game would be tied at 6-6 before the Skyhawks would take the lead. The Knights would stay within one possession as they would trail 15-13 but the Skyhawks would score the final seven points of the first quarter and the Knights would trail 22-13. The deficit would grow to double digits in the second quarter with the Knights facing a 15 point margin at halftime. The Knights would trim the deficit down to 10 points in the third quarter but would be unable to get any closer with the Skyhawks holding a 12 point lead at the end of the third quarter. The Knights would try and mount a comeback in the fourth quarter but ever attempt would be countered by the Skyhawks as the Knights would lose 65-52.
India Johnson led the Knights with 21 points as
Keiane' Rollins contributed 15 points and
Kyla Raven grabbed 14 rebounds.
The Knights will be out of action over the holiday break as their next game will take place on Wednesday, December 4th when they host the Running Eagles of Life University. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 PM EST.
